I think you might be a bit disappointed in the story as the scene from the cover doesn't quite show up like that. the girls name is Reena, the Apes and Humans are living together. There is a ship and some monsters and even a giant squid. Bob did do a great job on it though and the Planet of the Apes covers are some of my personal all time favorite pieces he has done.
