This was done for Bantam Books, Inc. At the time Bantam was issuing a series of leather bound Louis L'Amour books and this was a sample for an internal illustration. It wasn't used as it was 4/c. My guess it that piece was done for TV Guide based upon the sepia tone and lack of major colors.
